aside from getting lovers names what should l think about when getting a tat...should l keep in mind the longevity of it...how will l feel about this image when I am 40... I am not getting a name I am getting an image on the middle of my back that'snot really meant to be seen aside from me

l think the biggest mistake is not thinking it all the way through and doing it impulsively. One of my friends was partying one night and everyone said he should get a tattoo, and he agreed. He got a bumblebee on his butt, which is not so bad cause it was about to be on his forehead.

Yes, you should definitely wonder how you would feel about having it on you 10 yrs. or more from now. Opt away from anything that does not have deep significant meaning to you.

I'd say do not get it too small. Many people get their first tattoo too small and they regret that after

Well l think the biggest mistake is picking some tacky or popular design that does not really mean anything to them.

l do not see anything wrong with getting someone is name on you, AFTER you're married. Getting a name inked is not nearly as big of a commitment as marriage anyway.
However, l think the biggest mistake people make is getting something that everyone else has. Or getting something they saw on a friend. When getting a tat, you meed to find something that YOU really like, or is significant to you.

rushing into it or being influenced into what to get by a friend, things like that. basically not thinking it through. and definitely not taking into account whether it will be meaningful later on down the line.
