l think tats should be strategically placed. l do not condemn anyone for them but my personal preference is to have them so you can wear clothes to work that wo not let them show.

Because some people have personal morals against tattoos or marking your body. Some older people think tattoo people are all felons because people in jail of tattoos. And others are purely jealous, l have seen more jealous people then anything.

Cause some people are ignorant, and cant appreciate art in all it is forms.

They do it for a variety of reasons, but mostly l think because they r close minded & insecure with themselves. There was a question on here earlier the had a ton of & some of the posters said the only reason we get tats & piercings is because we r insecure & want the attention. l found that kind of funny because l feel like my tats tell a story, & if l was not trying to be upfront about who l am l would not get what l have gotten. Plus if they think we r so attention starved, why come here & pay attention to us ''freaks''? l am just as secure with who l am as a person as l was before, & l am not afraid to tell anyone that asks my story or meaning behind them. l think those of us that have tattoos tend to have a more open minded, less hateful attitude than those without (granted l am somewhat generalizing right now, l do realize that there r people out there that do not have them but can appreciate them). Certain people just like to fill their lives with being judgmental of others. l do not care if l do not fit into their cookie cutter ideal, it is what makes me me. And for anyone to not want to get to know me because of it could really make me care less, because they r definitely not the type of people l want to surround myself with anyhow! And absolutely they can cost a fortune if they r great artist, which is soooooo worth the money. Two things in this world that u should never cheap out on - tattoos & plastic surgery. You r stuck with them for life unless u have lots of money to correct them later! But then again, what do we know? We're just a bunch of trashy redneck uneducated hillbillies with our disgusting tats, right?

l think it is pretty sad that some people believe something like not having atattoo is what defines a good person. As mature adults r not we supposed to teach our children about love,respect ,tolerance,and accountability? How can any parent teach about such qualities if their own perception is blinded by a tattoo or the absence of one.It is unfortunate that some people can not base their opinions of others on their actions & not on such a shallow criteria as a tattoo. Would these same people change their opinion of someone they respected if they found out that they had a hidden tattoo?
