Do you think the design l want would be too much and if so how can l make it simpler?
l do not play an instrument (unless you count a simple drum beat and 3 years of flute in band that l have mostly forgotten) l just want this because l love music so much. l would go insane if l did not have music.
Andi you are an idiot. This tattoo would mean something to me. Music is such a huge part of my life. Any yes l have met some pretty awesome 50 year olds covered in tattoos!

l like the 2nd picture..but the 1st picture would be too much behind your ear..instead of those dot things..you could just get the treble clef and a music note?

what music do u play?
it shouldnt be too much, well l mean tattoos arent cheap but it is a small area and it really is a very simple design comared to alot of other tattos i've seen. go for it!!!

l think u should not get a tatoo on a whim. Its something that will be with u for the rest of ur life, unless of course u want to go through some excruating pain to get it removed. The pain to get it removed is 10x worse than the actual tatoo.
A tatoo should MEAN something to you, somethihng that u went through, or something that u can tell people with pride that u got it because of ___ & ___. Can u visualize telling people u got the stars/music notes behind ur ear because u thought it was a good idea? Na uh
Have u ever seen a cool 50year old with a tatoo? Mull on that.

both image are beautiful, but if you plan to make it simpler, than there are some option that may you need to pay attention.
1. 1st one you may remove the tiny musical notes that spread around on the big one.
2. You add some stars derives from the 2nd image and try to make them into one image.

What about just a music note behind your ear? l think that will look cute. The first link has too much going on but you can omit some of the designs. l like the 2nd one too and you could use the big design fm first link (not sure what it is called but it is the symbol used for the music sheet) and have little notes around it..

l have an eighth note (music note) behind my ear right where that picture showed the placement. My music note is about as big as it can be and it is really not that big. There is not that much of an area back there so yeah, l think the first one is too big. Narrow it down to a few small music notes or one big music note.or a treble clef or something.
